Mr. Barkocy began his long professional career at Merrill Lynch where he spent over 25 years as head of the Regional Bank Group in research. He later served as Managing Director at Advest and Josephthal heading up the Financial Institutions Research Groups at those firms. Switching to buy side research Mr. Barkocy joined Keefe Managers as an Director of Research. He was most recently the Director of Research at Mendon Capital Advisors. Mr. Barkocy was elected to Institutional Investor magazine’s All-American Research Team for nine years during his sell side career and was also named a Wall Street Journal All-Star. Frank is frequently quoted in the Wall Street Journal, American Banker, New York Times and other national and regional publications. Mr. Barkocy graduated from St. Francis College-Brooklyn with a degree in business.
Mr. Pecora has more than 20 years of banking experience. As President and CEO of Genesee Regional Bank (GRB), he has focused primarily on supporting small business and middle-market customers. Overseeing GRB’s financial, operational, administrative, and credit underwriting activities, he also leads their marketing and sales efforts and serves as the bank’s liaison to community supported activities. Besides sitting on GRB’s Board of Directors, he is the Past President of the Rochester Small Business Council, a trustee on the Executive Committee of McQuaid Jesuit High School, and Chair of the Investment Committee there. Phil is on the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross, and on the Board of Golisano Children’s Hospital. He earned his MBA from the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
Mr. Maring is currently the Treasurer and head of Investor Relations and Strategic Development for Gate House Media. He joined the Company in March 2008. He was formerly a Managing Director of Mendon Capital Advisors Corp, a registered investment advisor, from 2004 through March 2008. Mark held various finance and accounting roles at Constellation Brands, Arthur Andersen and The Chase Manhattan Bank. He is a graduate of St. John Fisher College and holds an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester.
Mr. Bartolotta has more than 26 years of financial services experience. He is President/CEO of American Portfolios Advisors and is also the founder and CEO of APFS Rochester, Inc. In 2010, he established a payroll and HRIS company, Nationpay Solutions. The combined companies were recognized by the Democrat and Chronicle as one of Rochester’s Top Work Places. Throughout his career, Mr. Bartolotta has been recognized as a top financial services professional. He earned a BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
